The spares are finally done having kids! I tend to do them first just so that there are already kids in the 'hood when I go to play the main houses, so that I don't get the annoying un-aging Townie kids following them home from school.

Power outage for about 12 hours yesterday. It was awesome coming home after a movie and food only to realize that the one of us who can see in the dark was too excited to see me to avoid being stepped on and/or kicked, so there was a lot of "Yes, I am glad to see you too, now move out of the way." "MRRROOOOW!" "Sorry, you stepped under my foot!" "MEEEEEW!" "WELL DON'T WALK THERE NEXT TIME." "GRRRRRR." "THE ROOM IS BLACK AND YOU ARE BLACK AND I CANNOT BE THE ONLY ONE SEEING THE PROBLEM HERE." as I attempted to locate my flashlight by the backlight of my cell phone. Oh, and then worrying about candles around a fuzzy kitty with an overabundance of curiosity and a total lack of common sense. Also, I need unscented candles, because lavender, blackberry, and sage are sort of an odd mix.

Anyhoo, back to normal now.

Bucky and Carver are no longer at college. That just leaves the two sets of twins, and the spares, who are all almost graduated themselves.

I just watched Stephen Colbert try to tie a bow tie. It was hilarious. He is now not wearing a tie.

My birthday was good. Thanks for the wishes, everybody! I finished off the day NOT falling off of any horses and washing down spicy enchiladas with Cazadores margaritas, and the only thing that would have made it better is if Supernatural hadn't been a rerun. And one of my German Rent-A-Grandmas sent me a box of cookies, so YAY COOKIES.

Everyone but the main house is into their Senior years now, so college is wrapping up quite quickly! I was holding off on Havelock House until I got Whitney and Tess's future hubbies sorted out. I aged up an Ottomas twin for Tess, and, YEESH. Unappealing.

Yesterday was amusing. I took a tumble off my li'l pony pal Lance, and of course it was in the Intermediate show arena the day before the show, so I had a whole audience of people jumping the show jumps who were there watching. Yeah. Fortunately, my pride's the worst of the hurt, although my knees are turning amusing colors still. I managed to land on my knees and forearms (because I am like a NINJA or a CAT or a NINJA CAT), and the arena had just been watered and dragged so it was nice and bouncy. But, you know, until that, things were going really well, and things were good once I caught my pony and got back on, so it was just the middle of the lesson that was a bit of a trainwreck.

In other news, I have discovered what I am allergic to at the barn. The last three weeks, I have been itchy Thursday nights, but not Friday, and I've ridden Lance Thursday but not Friday, and by the time I've gotten off, Lance has been a sweaty mess and has required an actual bath with actual shampoo. Yanos and Bo have not required baths, just hosing off the sweaty spots. So, yeah, I appear to be allergic to horse shampoo. HYPOALLERGENIC MY ASS. I have taken Benadryl, so coherence may be optional.

All I have left to do is play two of the spare college houses, and shoot one more scene with Mal.

OK, so I know I am horribly behind commenting. I owe, like, everybody at this point. I will catch up, I swear. I promise I'm good for it!

Played Havelock House last night and got Bucky and Carver pledged in and moved in. Tess and Fair are almost there. Billy's graduation party won't make the chapter, for reasons which will soon become apparent, but it's too good not to share.

I swear I do, really. Sometimes we have conversations that make me laugh like a maniac, sometimes we have conversations where I am expected to know that by "Where is the Etheria?" she means, "In what aisle of this store I am in, that you are 2500 miles away from, might I find CDs by Atreyu?" Guess which kind we had today? And seriously, that's not even getting into the "kitten" conversation, where she went to the pet store to pick up filters for the fishtank and the cat rescue people were adopting cats and kittens, and she MENTALLY NAMED one of the kittens, and didn't adopt it for some reason I cannot begin to fathom. Debbil-kitteh died almost a year ago. It's OK to want to get another kitteh. Gah, they are SO going to have to patch forehead-sized dents in the drywall when I move out of this apartment.

Anyway, last night I popped open the game, intending to play Mal through a couple of semesters, then get Bucky and Carver into Havelock House and Billy graduated and back into Riverblossom. So of course Mal had to go and be all interesting on me. Needless to say, Bucky and Carver are still in the dorms (I almost typed Bucky and Marco there, so closely tied are they in my brain).
